Our Story

The Traveling Kitchen journey began in 2011 with a simple vision: to share the rich, flavorful tastes of Korean cuisine in a fun and accessible way. Our founder, passionate about both Korean flavors and American street food, created a food truck offering a fusion of the two that would excite taste buds.


We launched with Korean-inspired tacos featuring bulgogi beef, spicy pork, teriyaki chicken, and crispy tempura fish, which quickly became a hit. Over time, we expanded our menu to include rice bowls, dumplings, and customizable taco combos.


Our commitment to quality ingredients, bold flavors, and friendly service has made Traveling Kitchen a beloved destination. We’ve built a loyal community and earned recognition as the #1 food truck in Kentucky, one of the best 100 tacos in America by Yelp, and the 17th best food truck in the U.S. by MSN.com.
